Giving Back - Charitable Donations of Used Equipment
E-Quipped Sports are committed to supporting sustainability within sport as well as promoting opportunities for children to access the sports they love by removing barriers to taking part. We are delighted to support Action for Sport, a leading UK charity, by offering customers the ability to return used equipment that is no longer needed such that it can be restored and redistributed to those less fortunate children who can then benefit from its use.
We believe that giving sports equipment a second lease of life is both an important way to improve sustainability within our industry while also allowing all children the opportunity to participate in sport and enjoy the multitude of benefits it provides.
Action for Sport was set up to achieve the following goals:
- To prevent poverty being a barrier to children participating in sport
- To protect and preserve the environment through recycling sports equipment, clothing and footwear
- To encourage all children to participate in sport, resulting in positive impact on their physical and mental health
- To advance amateur sport and personal development
- To deliver an education programme to help educate future generations about the alleviation of poverty, the importance of sport and the protection of our planet
